🚦 According to a 2024 survey by the American Automobile Association, 66 🚘% of U.S. drivers express fear of these vehicles, while only 9% say they trust them.

🛑 Accidents and Perceptions:
• In 2023, a robotaxis hit a pedestrian in San Francisco, causing serious injury to the pedestrian. After this incident, the company stopped its operations in 6 cities.
• Tesla’s driver assistance system was involved in more than 700 accidents and 17 fatalities between 2019 and 2023.
• A fatal accident with an Uber-Volvo prototype in 2018 also contributed to the decline in confidence in self-driving cars.
