The Silent Revolution of Electric Motorcycles! ⚡
25/08/2025900 million vehicles[1] are washed annually in Turkey!
And as a result, water is consumed as much as the annual water needs of a city with a population of 1 million or as much as the needs of our Seven Cities[2] with a population equivalent to 1 million!
📊 It is equivalent to the total water consumption of the cities of Çankırı, Artvin, Kilis, Gümüşhane, Ardahan, Tunceli and Bayburt [2] Our car washing habits and preferences[3]: o The rate of those who say they wash their own vehicle: 43.6% o The rate of those who say they wash their vehicle once a week: 41.9%, the rate of those who say they wash it every two weeks: 20%
🧠 These preferences are not a coincidence; it’s shaped by habits, accessibility, and technology.
While an average of 100 litres of water is used in a conventional car wash, this figure drops to just 5 litres with Steam wash systems[4] — and it is compliant with EU standards!
♻️ As a result, the Drought Map of our country for the last 3 months is alarming!
So why do we still continue with old habits? 📌
What to do, how to change?
💧 1. Wash not in your own garden, but at the authorized center! Because 1 vehicle = 100 liters, this is not a luxury, it is a waste!
💧 2nd. Support for Steam Systems is a Must! Both the environment wins and the economy revives. 💧
3rd. Vehicle Cleaning = Cleaning of Conscience
📣 Raising social awareness through public service announcements: “The cleanliness of a car should not cause a city to thirst.” 🎯 Behavioral change is possible with social awareness.
