Why do we still look at side mirrors instead of camera systems in cars?
20/08/2026What will the consumer do if there are those who are eliminated from the island?
👥 The situation of charging providers was examined by looking at the issue through the long-term interest of the consumer…
🧭Socket counts alone do not explain charging network performance, so a different indicator was calculated based on EPDK data for June 2026:
👉 “MONTHLY ESTIMATED TURNOVER PER SOCKET”
Turnover per socket;
➡️AC/DC socket distribution
➡️varies significantly according to price policy,
➡️usage intensity and
➡️location preferences! ?️
🩻Analysis table highlights:
🇹🇷The turnover per socket of the top 10 brands is 24 thousand TL 🥇 ≈ Trugo is ≈58% above this average with a monthly turnover of 136 thousand TL per socket.
🪫Although the number of sockets of some brands is quite high, the turnover per socket is significantly below the industry average.
This shows us an important fact:
📌 Turnover is measured not only by installing more chargers, but also by how effectively you can use those devices.
✅AGENCY ANALYSIS
o The expansion of the charging network is necessary for electric vehicle sales support in the first place. Today, it is not only important for the consumer to find a charging station nearby; whether the same provider will continue to provide services.
o It seems that a healthy infrastructure is now necessary? Providers that generate “50% less turnover” than the industry’s average turnover may be under more pressure in terms of sustainability. In this case, the consumer may be adversely affected.
o Today, it’s not just about finding a charging station nearby; whether the same provider will continue to serve years later.
o It may not be enough to read the health of the sector only from the number of sockets and the energy sold. In the evaluation of the sector in the coming period;
✅ Selling energy per socket
✅ Turnover per socket
✅ Socket utilization rate
✅ DC/AC usage balance
Productivity indicators such as these may need to be monitored much more soon.
🧮Methodology:
The turnover values in the study are estimated calculations created using publicly available energy sales data and current AC/DC tariffs of brands. May differ from actual business results.
In addition, since the figures are turnover, not profit, the effect of turnover on companies may be different.
In this calculation;
• Energy sales of each brand in June (MWh)
• AC/DC energy dissipation
• Current AC and DC sales tariffs of brands
• Total active socket counts
Approximate monthly turnover was calculated by evaluating them together.
