🚗 Automobile Leader Changing in Turkey in 2026?
04/02/2026
▶️ I would like to inform you that I will be settled guest on Türkiye’s longest running Automotive Program.
12/02/2026Erzurum, I do not know the team that “conducts a driving range test until the battery runs out” in cold weather conditions; however, I wanted to share it with you because I find the proliferation of such studies carried out in the field, in real conditions, very valuable.
(6 different brands/models of electric vehicles are tested at the same time)
🔗 https://lnkd.in/dydhBn5h The
weights and battery capacities of the vehicles in the test are different from each other. For this reason, a normalization (projection) study was carried out with the following assumption in order to compare the results more accurately:
🔘 Average vehicle weight: 1,971 kg (average of 6 vehicles )
🔘 Average battery capacity: 77 kWh (average of 6 vehicles)
The nominal range values reached under these assumptions are determined as the test range of the vehicles, 👉 It should be read to compare “energy efficiency and technical infrastructure performance” in cold weather conditions.
⚠️ Agency’s Analysis:
📌 The resulting ranking is more than the question of “which vehicle is better?”;
It gives important clues in terms of topics such as
✔️battery management
✔️ thermal system efficiency
✔️ software and power transmission optimization.
📌 The increase in such field tests is a great gain for both users and the industry. ✅ Thanks to everyone who contributed.
📌 Such posts should be an answer to the question of which type of motor vehicle rather than deciding on which vehicle.
📌 Example in Northern European countries In Norway, the proportion of Electric Vehicles reached 96% in 2025. The issue seems to be more about the geoeconomic situation than the climate. 📌 The need for independent organizations that regularly conduct such tests and share them realistically should be noted as a separate working phase.
